Hannah-Portrait

Hannah is a badass photographer. In fact, she's my favorite fine art photographer EVER. Hannah found out today that she got accepted into the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Like I said-SHE'S A BADASS. We had a photoswap day yesterday. I took pictures of her, she took pictures of me. Then we spent the afternoon in her room editing pictures and drinking lactaid chocolate milk. We're both lactose intolerant, but Hannah has found some kind of milk that we arent alergic to...it was delicious.

I bought some photoshop textures, "Dirty Pictures" from gettotallyrad.com, today and decided her pictures would be perfect to try them out on. She's flawless, right?

Jacob-Senior Pictures

Say hello to Jacob- a senior at Breckenridge high school on his way to Texas A&M to major in Aerospace Engineering. Jacob was so fun to take pictures of. He's really patient-which is important with all the odd things I made him do during our shoot. You know, the usual-climbing inside of old windows, trekking his way through ginormous sticks....all for the sake of the photos. Such a trooper. Enjoy!

This picture below is the result of making Jacob climb inside of an old window. See Jacob? Totally worth it :)





Jacob brought along his golfing equipment, so we headed out to a nearby golf course to snap a few shots of him in action. I know absolutely nothing about golf, but he looked like he was doing quite well!

LOOK AT MY SISTER!

Three weird things about my sister:

1. She now has teeth

2. She's getting HUGE.

3. She talks constantly. In a baby, jiberish kind of way, that is.

At least once a month, I come to Austin, Texas to visit my dad, step mom, and little sister, Anabelle. Each time I visit, Anabelle just gets bigger and bigger. Before her I was an only child, so it's awesome and odd all at the same time to watch her grow. Anabelle turned one this friday and my step mom threw her a HUGE party. Unfortunately, my camera was giving me difficulty and I didn't get to capture many moments from the party. But no worries! My father just HAPPENS to be a photographer, and got some pictures for me :) Happy birthday, sweet girl!

Today we went out and picked a Christmas tree at Lowes. I was in charge of taking pictures of Anabelle while my Grama and friend Michelle compared branch lengths and degree of fluffiness of each tree.



The only way to get her to look in my direction was to get Michelle to shake a box of nails above my head. After a while, though, Anabelle wanted to play with them herself.



It was a little chilly outside, but no worries. Daddy to the rescue!
