Honey, I'm home!

A few weeks ago I flew to Seattle for a new twist on a Glitter Shoot. Glitter shoots are all about having fun and doing something untraditional. My solution to that is usually throwing glitter on people and moving towards a fashion-esque shoot. However, I've always known I wanted to do more styled shoots- one with story lines. I knew I needed some help- and I couldn't have found a better event planner than Kelli at ShinDig Events. She coordinated a team of other wedding professionals to create the ultimate engagement shoot inspired by the ultimate retro lovebirds, Lucy & Ricky. Sumblime Stems provided the flowers, Lady Yum provided some DELICIOUS sweets, and Offwhite Beauty Boutique did some gorgeous hair and makeup. And our models? Prepare for amazing, folks. Shaughnessy and Kyle , owners of Hold Steady Clothing, drove all the way from Canada to join us! What an honor! Everything was just SO fun. We had the coolest location to shoot at as well- The Georgetown Stables in downtown Seattle had the perfect feel that we were going for.

Why did I choose to shoot in Seattle, you ask? Becaauuuusseeee..... We're moving to the Northwest! By we I mean my husband and I. We leave in early January and will be living in Astoria, Oregon. In addition to having a marvelous shoot for the sake of having a marvelous shoot, we're hoping this shoot helps us get our names out with the folks in that area. We will still be coming back to Texas many times a year for all of our previously booked clients, and I'm sure we'll be traveling all over the states, and hopefully world! Okay, ENOUGH OF ME TALKING. Enjoy the photos! Thank you so much to all of those who made this shoot happen!
